France’s Economy Minister gives wide-ranging interview on the BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show during a visit to the UK
Emmanuel Macron has given an interview to the BBC’s Andrew Marr on his visit to the United Kingdom.
During the interview Mr Macron discussed the Hinkley Point C Nuclear project, describing it as "very important for France".
Emmanuel Macron was in the UK to launch the French Tech London hub initiative, which is led by entrepreneurs and backed by the French government and supports France’s new generation of startups. He was joined at the event by French Minister of State for the Digital Sector Axelle Lemaire and British Minister of State for Culture and the Digital Economy, Ed Vaizey.
While in London, Mr Macron also spoke at the FT Future of Europe event where he emphasized that the priority today was to reshape a new political offer in Europe.
