How to apply for your child

You can apply for a passport for your child if they are under 18 and you legally have “legal parental responsibility” for them.

Parents who are applying for a child must come with them for the application of the new passport.

Children over 12 years old have to be present for the application and the collection of their new passport.

You will pay by credit or debit card on the day of your appointment. Payments by American Express are not accepted.

Documents you must bring

It is strongly advised to bring all the necessary supporting documents in order for your passport to be ready within 15 to 20 working days.
