Please either post your application and documents to the following address
or bring them in person to the Consulate-General’s état civil department during opening hours (Monday to Thursday from 8.45 a.m. to 12 noon and Friday from 8.45 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.). You do not need to make an appointment for this.

There is no set time limit for reporting a death or entering the death certificate in the état civil.
In some cases a death certificate may be issued on production of a Coroner’s Certificate of Evidence of Death.
