Seed Meetings: Results of the First Call for Proposals 2018
The Seed Meetings programme of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom aims to facilitate international cooperation between researchers in the UK and France. The call for application is biannual (open in May and November each year).
The four following proposals have been selected to benefit from the Seed Meetings programme:
- New Approaches to Political Culture, 1200-1800, CNRS; University of Lille; University of Aix-Marseille; University of Toulouse; University of York; University of Sheffield
- Investigating the physical forces at the basis of two key elements of candida albicans pathogenicity: adhesion and invasion of host tissues by hyphae, LISBP (CNRS, INRA, INSA); LAAS-CNRS; Department of Mycology and Fungal Biology and Pathogenicity Unit, Institut Pasteur; MRC Centre for Medical Mycology, University of Aberdeen; School of Physics and Astronomy, University of St Andrews
- The Heart of Ageing: Towards an Interdisciplinary Approach of Senescence, INSERM U910, Aix-Marseille University; INSERM U1183, Montpellier University; Reproductive Sociology Research Group, University of Cambridge; Institute for research in Biomedecine Barcelona.
- Iron-sulfur cluster proteins as biological switches, Institut de Biologie Structurale (CEA, CNRS, Université Grenoble Alpes) ; Norwich Research Park, University of East Anglia
The meetings will be held in May-June 2018 in London.
