Seed Meetings: Results of the First Call for Proposals 2019
The Seed Meetings programme of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom aims to facilitate international cooperation between researchers in the UK and France. The call for application is biannual (open in May and October each year).
The four following proposals have been selected to benefit from the Seed Meetings programme:
- Evolving ICT systems: achieving resilience through AI. Lead reseachers: Prof. Saddek Bensalem (University Grenoble Alpes) & Prof. Markus Roggenbach (Swansea University)
- NanoBubble: scientific controversies in nanoscience in the age of fake news, social media and post-publication peer review. Lead reseachers: Dr. Marianne Noël (LISIS) & Dr. Raphaël Levy (Univ. of Liverpool)
- GlycoAMR – a multidisciplinary network to elucidate the role of bacterial glycans for antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Lead reseachers: Prof. Richard Daniellou (University of Orléans) & Dr Gerd Wagner (King’s College London)
- Culture, Religion and Social Model: Paris and London in comparison. Lead reseachers: Prof. Nilüfer Göle (CESPRA-EHESS) & Dr. Ben Gidley (Birkbeck Univ. London)
