Seed Meetings: Results of the First Call for Proposals 2020

The Seed Meetings programme of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom aims to facilitate international cooperation between researchers in the UK and France. The call for application is biannual (open in May and October each year).

These results concern the first call for proposals 2020.
The second call for proposals 2020 (which was supposed to open in May 2020) had to be cancelled due to covid-19.

The four following proposals have been selected to benefit from the Seed Meetings programme:

  • Data-driven strategies to control engineering flows. Lead reseachers: Dr Laurent Cordier (Institute PPRIME, Poitiers) & Dr Florimond Quénia (Bimingham City University)
    The seed meeting will take place in Autumn 2020 due to covid-19
  • UK-FR GENE (Genomics and Ethic Network). Lead researchers: Dr Marie Gaille (CNRS) & Dr Ruth Horn (University of Oxford)
    The seed meeting will take place in Autumn 2020 due to covid-19
  • Green Heritage: Visiting and Revisiting British Gardens and Country Estates 1600-2019. Lead reseachers: Prof. Laurent Châtel (Université de Lille) & Dr Rosamund Paice (University of Portsmouth)
    The seed meeting will take place in 2021 due to covid-19

The four selected seed meetings cover England, Scotland and Wales and concern five French regions: Ile de France, Hauts de France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, New Aquitaine, Occitania.
