Seed Meetings: Success for the 2018 research project "TechCare"
Following a seed meeting organised in 2018 at the Higher Education, Research and Innovation Department of the French Embassy in London, the researchers involved have set up a proposal for a EU funded project entitled "TechCare". This research project has been selected for funding as a H2020 Innovative Action.
Researchers on both sides of the Channel and beyond worked hard during two days at the Embassy to kick off that project! We congratulate them for their success as their project has been awarded a funding of almost €6 million by the European Commission.

Overall objective of the project TechCare:
"TechCare is a multi-actor approach project aiming to develop appropriate business models using innovative technologies to improve welfare management for all EU small ruminant (SR) systems, to enable stakeholders to choose animal welfare-friendly products."
