So Toulouse tourism agency launched at French Residence
Ambassador welcomes Toulouse mayor and tourism representatives at launch of So Toulouse tourism agency

French Ambassador Sylvie Bermann opened the doors to her residence at Kensington Palace Gardens for the unveiling of a new tourism attraciveness agency So Toulouse.
Personalities from different business and leisure tourism organisations, as well as those from the aeronautic industry, were at the event, including representatives of Airbus, ATR, Liebherr Aérospace, Latécoère and a delegation from Toulouse, the ’Ville Rose’.
The Experience Toulouse event also marked the start of the International Air and Space Show, which is taking place from 11 to 17 July 2016 in Farnborough. The networking event organized by Atout France UK & Ireland, the tourism development agency of France abroad, brought together 200 entrepreneurs, investors, tour operators, tour agencies and partners of So Toulouse, including the Muséum et le Quai des Savoirs, Aéroscopia, la Cité de l’Espace, Club Hôtelier and EasyJet.
The reception featured a speech from Jean-Luc Moudenc, President of the So Toulouse agency, Toulouse Métropole and mayor of Toulouse. Charles Champion, President of Airbus Operations SAS and Alain Di Crescenzo, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Toulouse, were also in attendance.
A world leader in the aerospace industry, the city of Toulouse celebrated its arrival on the international scene thanks to the success of this first event on British soil.
In her speech, Ambassador Bermann also announced a new EasyJet route between London Luton and Toulouse due for launch in September.
