Substantial increase of Foreign Direct Investment in France
The IBM Global Locations Trends report ranks France sixth in the world for Foreign Direct Investment in 2018
France is ranked sixth in the world for the number of jobs created by Foreign Direct Investment in 2018, according to the annual IBM Institute for Business Value, Global Locations Trends report 2019.
For the first time, Paris has hosted more FDI projects than London; while in 2018 nearly 80,000 jobs were created thanks to French FDI.
The report is positive news for France, which was ranked 11th in the world in the same report last year.
