Please note Campus France is the primary point of contact for this procedure - you will find all relevant information at www.uk.campusfrance.org

Registering on the “Études en France” platform is mandatory before applying for a long-stay student visa. You need to register up to 3 months and at least fifteen days before your program begins in France.

The procedure is divided into three steps :

1. You must register through a platform called “Études en France”.

2. You need to fill in a Long Stay visa application on the official platform France-Visas.

3. You will then book an appointment at a TLSContact Center (London / Edinburgh / Manchester), which will collect your visa application and your biometrics. Your application will be transferred to the French Consulate of France in London for approval. The appointment must be booked as early as possible and at least 3 weeks before the beginning of your studies in France.

Campus France UK will guide you through the whole process.
